2009 – There had been a weather warning in the city of A Coruña, Galicia, Spain, and I had been videoing the enormous waves hitting the coast by the Torre de Hercules (a World Heritage Roman Lighthouse). I suddenly noticed some stupid people who were playing about near the edge of the cliff and turned on my camera. I couldn't believe what I was watching! At one point, they were caught short when a particularly huge wave hit the cliffs both in front of them and to their right. For a few seconds, I couldn't see anything. I honestly thought I had filmed the last moments of their lives as they were swept out to sea. Luckily, they only got very wet and fled the location. Back home with the footage, I quickly composed this piece to accompany the images.
